Phrasal Verbs for Business English II

Announcement! As of August 1, 2019, the TOEFL Reading, Listening and Speaking sections will be shortened. The TOEFL will also make changes to its prep materials and scoring system. Because of this, some of the info in our blog posts may not yet reflect the new exam format. We cover all the changes here.

In my last post on this subject, I covered the useful workplace phrasal verbs “go on,” “carry out,” “set up,” and “point out.” These phrasal verbs were explained in both a video lesson and a comic strip. Today, we have a new video lesson and comic strip. The business English phrasal verbs we’ll look at today are “set out,” “walk out,” “take on,” and “take up.” Enjoy!
