First semester senior year is a very stressful time but as a college freshman, I can assure you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s what I would tell my younger self.
Enjoy right now
Enjoy senior year and don’t get too bogged down by stress because the year flies by. This is your last year home with your friends and family. Appreciate it. Work hard but don’t forget to have fun.
Everything will be okay
Your college decision will work out absolutely fine. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t get into your top choice. Your life can and will be everything you want it to be no matter where you go. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
Get everything done ASAP
Don’t put off applications until the last minute. Don’t rely on an acceptance from your early decision school. Trust me, you’ll feel an incredible weight lifted off of your shoulders when everything is done, which is something you’re going to want to experience sooner rather than later.
It’s all worth it
All of the work you’re doing now (and that you’ve done throughout all of high school) is so so worth it. College is amazing and fun and everything you’ve ever heard of it being. So don’t give up. There’s definitely hope!
Improve your SAT or ACT score, guaranteed. Start your or your today!
